FPL GW7 - Let's Go!

Hello ahead of GW7!!  Getting exciting again!  First up a belated review of my GW6, as well as review of how the Dream Teams did last week, then Dream Teams for this week, and finally my own team for GW7.

My FPL GW6
My FPL Team scored 47 pts. I was quite dissapointed with this overall, particualrly as my main rvial had captained Suarez and I ummed and erred all week about bringing him in. I wouldn't have captained him but it would have lessend the blow. In the end I brought in Cazorla and captained Fellaini. On another day I coulda scored big and overall I am happy thay i strengthened my squad for the coming gameweeks - remember there are 32 of these left!

DREAM TEAMS - GW6
Scout Picks 3-4-3 Fantasy Football Scout - scored 7/ 2 6 2 / 2 2 2 2 / 8 13 6 = 52 pts
Mig / Johnson Huth Baines / HBA Pienaar Fellaini Caz / Fletch RVP Aguero

Dream Team 3-4-3 TotalFPL.com scored 7 / 1 2 6 / 2 2 2 2 / 8 13 5 = 50 pts

Mig / Rafa Baines Huth / Pienaar HBA Fellaini Caz / Fletch Ba RVP

My Select XI 3-5-2   - scored 6 / 2 1 2 / 2 2 1 2 / 8 5 5 = 36 pts

Beg / Baines Gibbs Johnson / Caz HBA Hoilett Fellaini* / Fletch RVP Mirallas

The Scout gets their first win this season, and I score quite a lot lower than the others.  I am fully confident that over time, once stats mature,  I am going to win this particular minigame.  Hnmm.

DREAM TEAMS - GW7

Scout Picks 3-4-3 Fantasy Football Scout

FOS / JOHNSON IVAN BAINES / BALE HAZ MICHU RAMIREZ / TEVEZ RVP SUAREZ

Dream Team 3-4-3 TotalFPL.com

My Select XI   3-4-3  -
CECH / OLSSON JOHNSON CLICHY / SILVA RAMIREZ MICHU OSCAR / LUKAKU LAMBERT BA

I'm taking some big risks as usual but remember that I am using my statistical optimisation model to determine the best players based on form and fixtures.  I explain why I have omitted Hazard and in particular Gareth Bale in the main post and comments.

MY FPL GW7
My team for this weekend, subs in brackets.

FOS (Jassk)
JOHNSON GIBBS BAINES (Taylor, Demel)
CAZ PIENAAR HBA FELLANI BALE (C)
BA DEFOE (VC) (Berbatov)

I'm gutted that Berbatov is injured, kind of ruined my plans from a few weeks ago, but thems the punches.  My transfer this week was Metersacker out for Johnson.  It seems like I erred on picking the German up, I honestly thought he would keep his place in the Arsenal back 4, but hey.  So, with Taylor injured and Demel vs. Arsenal correcting this mistake had to be my priority this week, and Glen Johnson is someone I am recommending in my Buying Guide.  I'd prefer Clichy but just can't rely on Mancini.

I was extremely tempted to get rid of the injured Berbs for Suarez.  I will be on tenterhooks all through the LIV vs STO game for sure but I have already taken too many -4pt hits this season (3) and must remain calm and objective and plan not just for one game but the many more to come.
